Last summer, I embarked on my first backpacking trip. I am lucky to have some family and organized travel experience in my life, but this was my first time being off on my own (well, with a few friends), and figuring everything out for myself. The summer started out with a Birthright Israel trip (a free, organized trip to Israel), and then I, along with three friends, traveled around Europe (Austria, Croatia, and Italy). Upon returning home, I made a video to show my family and friends all the adventures I had experienced over the past month. This year, for my Intro to Writing class, we selected one piece we have created (we could choose anything!) to work on and reimagine in different genres throughout the semester. I chose this video. Whether you’re sitting in an office, library, in your home, or in a coffee shop, prepare to take journey across the world while you’re on this website. Hopefully it inspires you to take an adventure of your own.
